tell me what was ever really special about me all this time
Last post September? Oops. Where to start. Third year... There's just no slowing down and it's all about taking responsibility of your own life from here on out. I'm getting ridiculously scared of leaving university and entering the real world. Football's going alright. I'm learning quite a bit from being club captain this year. Everyone uses you as a scapegoat and no one pats you on the back for getting transportation sorted every week while juggling all the other little jobs and duties involved. It's difficult getting people to do what you need them to do, and when the shit hits the fan it's your fault, so it turns you into a somewhat naggy, repetitive annoying figure head. My sense of responsibility is way too big to just not care and let the club go to pots. But I'm quite relieved the football socials have started, I get to be fun that way. I'm taking a mandarin course this year. It's pretty basic but it's good. I enjoy it quite a bit because I'm actually learning it properly. But it does get well retarded when you start having to learn your vocabulary and "the People's Republic Army" is one of the phrases you have to learn.

when you grow silent I start to fall
Dear everyone, I wish I was able to spend more time with each and every one of you and with some people I wish I could have seen you. Nevertheless I love you all and I hope you have a good year ahead and no doubt I'll be seeing you all again soon :) and I'll do my best to keep in touch. With love, Cheryl 0 comments September 02, 2008 @ 5:59 PM
wouldn't miss it for the world
So much for my whole I've-still-got-three-weeks outlook. The summer's almost over. I'm going on the Canada/Alaska holiday tomorrow. I'm so looking forward to it but not the flight and right now all I can think about is the flight and how limited the in-flight entertainment is aboard China Airlines.. oh how MAS has spoiled me. 1 comments |
